How to Use Bevel Router Bits for Perfect Wood Panel Splicing

Share professional operation skills of bevel router bits in wood panel splicing

Wood panel splicing is one of the core applications of bevel router bits. Traditional flat butt splicing leads to obvious gaps and uneven joints, affecting the overall beauty and structural stability. Bevel oblique splicing uses angled cutting to make panels fit tightly, realizing seamless connection after assembly.

Different splicing scenarios require matching bevel angles. 45° bevel bits are the most common choice for right-angle border splicing of furniture and door panels. 22.5° and 30° bevel bits are suitable for multi-angle decorative splicing and special-shaped board combination. Uniform oblique cutting ensures consistent seam width and flat assembly surface.

During operation, users need to fix the tool speed reasonably and keep uniform feeding speed to avoid uneven cutting depth. With standard bevel processing, the spliced wood panels have tight seams, strong integrity, and more hierarchical three-dimensional effect, greatly improving product grade.
